“I Joined Salama Kenya Baptist Ministries Children's Home after the passing on of my biological mum in 2009 December that was after my KCPE exams. Through their help I managed to go through my high school education. They encouraged me to work hard in school so as to secure an opportunity to join the University after high school. One thing I loved about the Children Ministry is how it’s run by God fearing People, So they not only gave me an opportunity for studies but also to know more about God.”

“I am very grateful to God and also to Salama Kenya Baptist Ministries where I grew up, through our Late Bishop, Mom Grace, our Pastor, Moses for every support, Love, guidance, encouragements, kindness, motivations, advice, care, understanding and assistance from when I was brought under there care by my grandmother at Skbm children’s Home, they have always been there for us all at the Home. Indeed this is my best Home were one can ever come across for it’s a place with every Christian virtue and God fearing leaders. I am privileged to have grown up here. I am now a family Man married and blessed with a Son and earning a living by Serving God in a Church and Ministry at the coast of Kenya Mombasa. May God bless SKBM MISSION, Mama Grace, Pastor Moses and His Wife, all Church Leaders and Partners working with them to achieve the great work of God, in Jesus' precious Name.”

“Am taking this opportunity to thank you friends, partners, church and everyone who have been doing whatever they have to ensure am taken care of, providing clothes for me and providing food to eat every day, Let me say because of my Parents Great love, mercy, care for me, the might God will also have mercy upon you all and may the lord bless you and give you that same love of helping the needy. You have been educating me since class one until now am in class eight ,you have provided  food through my primary education, you have provided shoes for me, you have provided school uniform for me, you have provided books and textbooks for reading in school, nothing I can give to you  but the one whom you serve will bless you. You have provided a hospital through which we are treated when we get sick. I can say that am in good hands and may the lord provide also for you.”

“Nashukuru  mungu kwanza kwa uhai wa bure na fadhili zake za dumu milele  kwa maana amenilinda siku zote. Namshukuru tena ameniongoza katika masomo yangu. Kama mtoto namshukuru mungu kwa wazazi wanaonilea  Pastor Moses, Mama Deborah na Mum. Pia Matron mama Kiamba na Mama Grace. “First I want to thank the lord for the far he has taken me since I came here; nothing became hard for me I have been living well with other children. I have seen God’s hand in my life since I joined my current Home here at SKBM Children’s Home, The lord has been with me, I have being taken care of ,even when am sick  I get well within a short period, all my needs are also taken care of by my Parents here. In my studies God has helped  my Parents to pay for my school fees ,I have never been send home due to fees payment, God has helped me to finish my primary school well and hope I also will finish my secondary education well  still at this home. We are being taught God’s word here to enable us to do the will of God. Am sure God will meet with our future needs for He has done it for us All.”
